OPTIHealth Weight Loss FAQ

1. Is the OPTIHealth system safe?

Yes! The OPTIHealth program is all-natural and is tailored to each and every individual.  We help our clients become successful by doing a body composition analysis each time they come into the office. It helps us understand the potential reasons weight gain has occurred, and it gives us the ability to help implement changes to ensure their continued success during their weight loss journey.

2. How much weight can I expect to lose on the OPTIHealth program?

Really, as much as you need to. Of course, everyone is different, but the science behind our program works for everyone. We not only help you achieve the results you want on the program, but we also provide a support system for 6 months. Whether you are looking to drop those last pesky 10-20 pounds, or you need to lose 100 or more pounds, we can help you!

3. Does Your program use HCG?

Absolutely not! HCG is a hormone that causes weight loss over a short period of time; however, it causes extreme hormonal imbalance, and most will gain the weight back shortly after finishing. You are also required to eat a very low-calorie diet (500-600 calories) per day. By skipping meals and eating infrequently, your metabolism will adjust to your new way of eating. Once you are off the HCG and increase your calories, your body is confused. It doesn’t know how to process the new amount of food correctly. Many times this will result in gaining back even more weight than you lost. There is also a synthetic version of HCG which is equally as harmful. There are many things to be said about HCG, but make sure to do your own research under HCG side effects.

4. Since I am eating fewer calories, will I feel hungry during the program?

Our highly nutritious and complete supplement line will help you experience lower appetite and cravings while obtaining increased energy and focus. You will also train your body to eat more frequently to increase your metabolic rate and fat burning. This also helps control your appetite. Remember, you are only eating fewer calories in the beginning of the program. Our main objective is to speed up your metabolism by having you eat 5 to 6 times per day.

5. How much do I need to exercise?

It is recommended to exercise every day. We have included a short exercise routine that only takes 8-10 minutes to complete. This will help you learn to enjoy exercising and ease you into a regular workout routine. Remember, 10 minutes a day of exercise is a small investment to make in ourselves, especially to have the body you’ve always desired.

6. Do I need to take the supplements or can I just exercise?

Our custom line of supplements is a convenient and nutritious way to help you stay on track. Getting the proper nutrition is a huge factor when it comes to curbing your appetite and overall weight loss. Without the proper nutrition, the exercise alone will not produce maximum results. Our complete nutrition program provides important vitamins and minerals to have a healthy and active lifestyle.

7. What do I do if I miss a meal or a workout?

It is imperative to eat more frequently. When you start the program, you will be eating 3 meals per day, but very quickly, you will change to eating 5 times per day. Try not to miss a meal or workout, since an increased metabolic rate and exercise is the key to your success; however, if life happens, and you do miss a meal or workout, get back on track as soon as possible and stay focused on your weight loss journey.

8. What about eating out?

If you have to eat out, have a complete snack as recommended on the OPTIHealth food list. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water before you go out and eat. This will stop you from diving into harmful things such as sugar and bread, or from eating more than you need. Order an appetizer with lean protein instead of a huge entrée. You can also eat a half portion of your dish, and take the rest home for leftovers. It is also a good practice to ask for a to-go box when first ordering your meal.

9. I have lost some weight but would like to lose more. What do I need to do to accomplish this?

First of all, congratulations on your success! As long as you follow the program as it is outlined, you can reach your desired weight goal, even if it is quite a distance from where you are now. This program not only provides 6 months of support, but also the education that lasts a lifetime! You can also reach out to our trained specialists for personal advice to ensure your desired results. 10. Can I keep the weight off after I finish the program?

Absolutely! As part of our program, we help you lose weight as well as give you the education and training needed to keep it off for life! We also offer continued education as well, so you are never alone when it comes keeping the weight off and living a healthy lifestyle.

11. How do I stay motivated during this program?

Many people become discouraged when dieting because they are not receiving the proper nutrition, are starving themselves, or are eating foods they do not like. This can have damaging effects on you physically, not to mention the toll it takes on you mentally. This is one of many ways that the OPTIHealth system is very different. This program includes a complete makeover when it comes to your eating habits and the way you view food. You will find that it is not restrictive, and you will even start to feel physically stronger and mentally empowered. For sustainable weight loss and healthy living, it is important to not only train someone how to eat, but also to impact their heart and mind. Shifting our paradigms is the only way to completely solve the problem. Think of your beliefs as the root of a tree. Will the tree be healthy without healthy roots?
